At Windhoek airport, discover the benevolent smile of your tour guide. He will quickly take you to the heights of the capital, to a lodge perched above the capital. There are a few trails to stretch your legs, or do you prefer the invigorating coolness of the pool? When the stars light up the Namibian sky, you gather around a convivial table to listen to your tour leader's information to discuss the journey ahead.
Accommodation
Auas Safari lodge
Breakfast and dinner included
Standard double room & guide room
Located 1h30 from Windhoek airport, this 16-room lodge extends over hectares of savannah, crossed by herds of Cape elands and many warthogs, kudus and oryx at the foot of the Auas mountains. Step
Sossusvlei
Let your mind wander as your gaze flies over the pre-Namib landscapes and its crumpled reliefs: your driver-guide will take you to the gates of NAMIB NAUKLUFT Park. The Namib forms one of the oldest and driest deserts in the world, and covers more than 15% of the country on the Atlantic coast. It nevertheless extends over 2000 km, along the coast of South Africa, on the Angolan border. The accumulation of sand and the formation of dunes takes place between 40 and 15 million years ago.
